Zynga- Wizard of Oz Magic Match

In August of 2016 I joined Zynga San Diego as a Design Intern and worked almost exclusively on Wizard of Oz Magic Match. I wrote spec documents on new Features and Hazards given a general vision of the feature with my task being to design it and take all of the existing features into account. Two of my Hazards were used, Conveyor Belt and Ghost; both of which moved pieces around the board with the Conveyor Belt having a stronger but more predictable effect while the Ghost was weaker but less predictable. These Hazards so directly affect gameplay that my specs needed to be very clear in what pieces could move and if not what would happen instead. I also defended my specs in meetings with the Creative Director, Lead Designer, QA members, Artists, and other Designers.

After my 3 month internship, I was in talks with Zynga to work as a remote contractor for 6 months  and in December my contract began and concluded in June 2017. Much of my time in my internship and all of my time as a contractor was spent designing and reviewing levels for Wizard of Oz Magic Match. In my 3 months as an intern I created over 70 levels, and that number only increased as a contractor.
