About

My name is Gregory Carrobis and I graduated Cum Laude from the Rochester Institute of Technology’s Game Design and Development Bachelor’s program in May of 2017. I primarily am into Mechanic and Level Design, although I have done some Quality Assurance at Viewpoint Construction Software and I’ve also recently begun getting interested in User Interface/Experience design.

Due to the number of project based courses I have taken and my own personal projects, I am no stranger to crunch and have learned to work furiously. I interned at Zynga working primarily on their Match 3 game “Wizard of Oz Magic Match” as a designer where I learned how to defend my ideas in front of Producers, Creative Directors, and other higher-ups as well as dealing with accepting criticism from other designers. In addition to that, my experiences at Viewpoint introduced me to a larger workload as I was one of 3 people that knew how to code and one of two people who were solely on the Automated Testing team and not splitting time with other teams, so I was able to be heavily involved in writing the tests and solving issues even though I was just an intern. I’ve also worked in mobile  particularly in Android, as I learned Android Studio for game development and made 3 Unity Android games as a part of a “Casual Games” advanced elective.
