This was the first big team project I did at RIT and it turned out looking really good. I was the Project Lead and did a lot of the ideation, management between group members and delegation (I was only alright at both of those), and worked on the lights and the player character’s echolocation abilities. I wanted it to be a stealth puzzler and really focus on those two aspects so we didn’t give the player any means of attacking on their own and made them die in one hit. The player’s main ability, echolocation, does share a cooldown with a short enemy stunning screech but the screech sets the cooldown higher than just echolocation to encourage the player to not use it unless they’re prepared to be blind and defenseless for a bit.
Every group member worked in XNA C# and it was a big learning experience as things went on. Team was myself. Joel Tom, Adam Kaufman, Madison Smith, Westley Waligora, and Karen Navarro
